Wow! Our CPR/first aid seminar was a great success. 28 attendees (max capacity) with 8 cyclist following through to get CPR certified, including yours truly (Scott S.). Thanks greatly to our instructors and fellow cyclist Katie Degoursey, Jim Cain, Todd Wurtz and Dave for their knowledge and Time. Did I mention that the class was free and that the instructors gave up their time and probably more importantly a ride to do this for their friends and fellow cyclist. So we are doubly indebted.

Not only did we learn the basics of CPR we also discussed wound treatment, immobilization techniques and our ABC's of emergency treatment. We do have available handouts from the class on all the subjects covered and encourage you to come by and get one.

Also let me know if you would be interested in future classes on this subject and others.

Thank you to all the attendees, I hope that together we can help save lives!

Did you know that a correct bike fit can mean all the difference in how you feel during and after a ride.  For general purposes, a proper fit allows an a person to harness all the mechanical advantages of his/her bicycle which results in a greater power output and ultimately, greater performances and results.  A proper fit also helps to establish safety on your bicycle. Chronic cycling injuries to your back, neck, shoulders, wrists, ankles, knees, and feet are commonly associated with improper fit and can have a long-term impact on how those body parts function on or off the bike.

Furthermore, comfort is always important so that you can ride your bike knowing that you are enjoying it and feel that you are in total control throughout your ride.
