11th Annual Katie Ride For Life

The Katie Ride is a premier bicycle touring event catering to cyclists of all abilities. The annual fundraiser is held on beautiful Amelia Island ("Top 10 Island in the United States" - Conde Nast Traveler 2012 Readers' Choice Awards) and features routes of 100 miles, 62 miles, 36 miles, 18 miles, fun ride and an off-road ride. The event was created in 2005 to raise awareness for organ donation and support the Katie Caples Foundation nationally recognized organ donor education program. The 11th anniversary of the event is Saturday, April 18, 2015

April 26 NFBC Tour De Forts – Sun, April 26, 2015 at 7:00 am


    Cyclists who join the annual Tour de Forts Classic will find that it offers better routes on Sunday April 26 and will include stretches along the Bartram Trail, the Palatka-to-St. Augustine Trail and the East Coast Greenway.
    The ride begins at Bartram Trail High School in St. Johns and takes cyclists on routes of 25, 38, 62 or 100 miles. Highlights include several miles along the beautiful St. Johns River, through area farmlands, through historic St. Augustine and along the Atlantic Ocean.
    Also new this year, part of every registration fee will go to support the One Road Cycling Safety campaign, a project of the North Florida Bicycle Club.
